The Los Angeles Lakers have been a free agent destination  for generations. After all, Los Angeles is known for its vibrant city life and warm weather. The Lakers are also known for its rich history of winning championships. From the era of the Showtime Lakers to the dawn of the early millennial dominance of Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, the Lakers have built a storied franchise off the efforts of Hall-of-Fame players. As a result, players today strongly admire the Lakers' organizational culture, even though they are currently one of the worst teams in the NBA.

LeBron James, who coincidentally lived through many of the Lakers' championships, has obviously seen the Lakers franchise first-hand, especially now after 15 years in the NBA. Many people suspect that James will leave the Cavaliers this year and join the Lakers, which makes sense to some people since James have left the Cavaliers before in 2010. Of course, NBA teams are prohibited to pursue upcoming free agents before the July 7 moratorium. That still hasn't stopped fans from wooing James to join their favorite teams. In this case, Lakers fans across the world are encouraging the superstar to join the Lakers.

Luke Walton has apparently been made aware of these displays, but he refrained from making any comments in a hilarious fashion.

Walton is alluding to the fines that Magic Johnson received for allegedly breaking the league's tampering rules. As a matter of fact, Walton was fined for simply stating that Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo would one day win a championship in Milwaukee. Walton certainly dodged a bullet, indeed.
