Magic Johnson was once accustomed to winning NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers, and he believes the team will secure another championship on Friday night.

Ahead of the potential Finals-clinching Game 5 for the Lakers against the Miami Heat, Johnson revealed his big expectation for Los Angeles.

Throughout his illustrious career, Magic Johnson won five NBA titles with the Lakers, winning NBA Finals MVP in three of them. The playmaking point guard would celebrate his championships with Jerry Buss, who was the owner of the purple and Gold franchise during his time in Los Angeles.

Fast forward to now and it's Jeanie Buss who holds the same role her father once held with the Lakers organization. And upon showing pictures of himself with Jerry, Johnson believes LeBron James will be doing the same with Jeanie on Friday.

Heading into the high;y anticipated matchup, the Lakers own a 3-1 lead over the Heat. While Los Angeles has the advantage, it is easier said than done to eliminate a Heat team that is filled with ultra-competitive players, along with a mastermind at head coach in Erik Spoelstra.

But the odds are in the Lakers' favor, especially with LeBron leading the charge. Since the beginning of his legendary career, LBJ boasts a 38-10 record in elimination games and has won 17 of his last 18 elimination games.
