Whit the return of HBO’s hit TV series “Game of Thrones” just less than two weeks away, it’s been all everybody seems to be talking about these days. So much so, that even Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant wants in on the action.
Recently, main cast member Maisie Williams, who plays the character of Arya Stark, learned about Bryant’s desire to be part of her character’s “kill list,” and the 21-year-old actress’ reaction was priceless. Here’s a clip of the interview featuring Williams and co-actor Sophie Turner, who portrays Arya’s sister, Sansa.
These two lead actresses are some of the hottest names in the business today, but still, they could not help but gush upon learning that Bryant not only follows their show, but also appears to be heavily invested in the storyline.
Kobe has been keeping himself extremely busy ever since entering retirement nearly three years ago, but as it seems, he has some spare time to watch a bit of quality cable television. “Game of Thrones” is definitely one of the most epic TV series of recent time, so we could say that it is time will spent for the five-time NBA champ.
The former Lakers star likely won’t get his wish of being killed by Arya Stark granted, but it was at least worth a shot. Kobe is not one to shy away from taking shots, and as it turns out, this was no exception.
