The Los Angeles Lakers recently made a huge splash in the free agency market by signing reigning Sixth Man of the Year Winner Montrezl Harrell. It wasn't exactly the best of news for Los Angeles Clippers supporters, but as it turns out, it has Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic fans jumping for joy.

We came across a few celebratory tweets from Jokic followers, and the general belief is that with Harrell, the Lakers will now struggle to contain the Nuggets big man should these two teams face off in the playoffs again:

For this particular Twitter user, he believes that Jokic cost Harrell quite a bit of money when the former completely outplayed Harrell in the second-round meeting between the Nuggets and the Clippers:

For the record, Harrell reportedly put pent to paper on a two-year deal with the Lakers worth $19 million-plus. That's roughly just $9.5 million per year for the 26-year-old, who many believed could have earned much more than that. Harrell was never going to be a max player, but the fact that he is the reigning Sixth Man of the Year points to the fact that the Lakers got quite a bargain for him. For Nuggets fans, they strongly believe that Jokic had a lot to do with that.

Losing Dwight Howard, who himself signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, is a tough blow for the Lakers, and they will surely miss the energy and the defense that he brought to the table. He was especially effective against Jokic in the West Finals, and with him out of the picture, some Nuggets supporters believe that they now have a clear path to the Finals.

That's a bit presumptive, wouldn't you say?
