Rajon Rondo and Russell Westbrook are now teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers, and any beef between them is apparently dead.

Rondo said as much during his introductory press conference with the Lakers and then again at Tuesday's Media Day:

If you somehow forgot, there was a bit of Rondo-Russ beef in the bubble when the Lakers took on the Houston Rockets in the playoffs. Rondo's brother, William, was talking trash from his courtside seat and got ejected. Russ was mad at both Rondos for what went down, though Rajon downplayed everything.

Westbrook and Rondo also got into it this past season when Russ pushed the fellow veteran and got ejected for picking up a second technical foul.

However, that's now all water under the bridge. Rondo and Westbrook are prepared to unite for a common goal, which is winning a championship together on the Lakers. While Rondo has enjoyed his fair share of championship glory, Westbrook hasn't yet won an NBA title, despite being on a number of high-level teams.

The veteran point guards were all smiles on Tuesday at Lakers Media:

The Lakers made a bunch of moves this past offseason, and we'll see how this veteran team comes together after a disappointing playoff exit in 2020.
