It looks like Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis are developing their chemistry pretty well, so much so that Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel sees big things coming for the duo.

Per Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet, Vogel shared how Westbrook assisted Davis to get four consecutive baskets during Tuesday's practice. With that, the Lakers tactician couldn't hold back his excitement about the potential of the two and what they can do with the Purple and Gold.

“I think this is gonna be really good,” Vogel said of the Westbrook-Davis partnership.

LeBron James will certainly love what Frank Vogel just said. After all, there are high expectations on the Lakers this 2021-22 after they formed their own Big 3.

While the said “360°” trio will still be tested come the start of the season, it is undoubtedly good news that Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis are making strides in improving their partnership. It also bodes well with their championship aspirations amid huge threats from the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and other powerhouse teams in the East and West.

The Lakers lost their preseason opener to the Nets, though fans should read too much into it since LeBron and Westbrook were out and did not play. Hopefully, though, the LA faithful will get to see Davis play with Westbrook in the preseason and witness the chemistry they have developed that Vogel is so proud of.
