The Los Angeles Lakers landed point guard Russell Westbrook on the night of the NBA Draft in a trade with the Washington Wizards. Now, Westbrook has officially become a Laker, and he is rocking the same number he has for quite some time.

Westbrook coming on board makes the Lakers trio of himself, Anthony Davis, and LeBron James a dangerous group as they do whatever it takes to find a way back to a Western Conference title.
The Lakers also added other veterans, including a return of Dwight Howard and LeBron finally being able to team up with longtime friend Carmelo Anthony.
As of Friday, they still have a couple of roster spots, and Jared Dudley makes a lot of sense to be back in the purple and gold as well.
The Lakers have had a rather good offseason, despite the criticism of many saying they have a bunch of old guys, and LeBron and company are ready to shine forth in the 2021-2022 NBA season. After a first-round exit at the hands of the Phoenix Suns, there is a lot of buzz surrounding this team, and the addition of Westbrook is a big one.
