On Friday, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic, in a good win for this team. LeBron James scored 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Following the Lakers' victory over the Magic, LeBron rushed to Instagram to convey his emotions:

“Shifting the culture. Mention me with MJ and Brady like you're ‘posed to. I'm. standing next to rookies, somehow they looking older. The altitude of matter so cold, it'll make your nose run. How you expect to get love if you don't show none? 👑”

These words are a reference to Nas lyrics, and LeBron is attempting here to gain the respect and flowers that he so well deserves. Even though he has received several awards and accolades during his career, some people continue to doubt him and believe that he is not the greatest basketball player of all time. It's difficult to determine if he is the best basketball player of all time, but there's a strong case to be made that he should always be ranked first or second.

The Lakers have not performed as well as they had planned this season, but they have plenty of talent on their roster and are hopeful that they will be able to sort it out soon. Anthony Davis is expected to return shortly, which should help this Lakers squad get back on track and work towards winning an NBA title.

With the trade deadline approaching, the Lakers' next few weeks will be exciting, but they don't have many trade assets that teams would want to receive in a deal.

Editor's note: This story was updated to properly note that LeBron was referencing Nas with his IG post, and a headline typo in Nas' name was fixed. We regret the error.
