Hey, with LeBron James out, somebody has to run Show Time for Los Angeles right? Dennis Schroder even got tossed during the game, which gave Horton-Tucker more playmaking duties on Saturday.

THT got his third career start and second one on the season in this potential NBA Finals match-up against the Nets. The Lakers look like they didn’t miss their superstar tandem at all, as the depleted Lakers just blew out the surging Nets to the tune of a 126-101 victory. Horton-Tucker finished with 14 points, three rebounds, and a team-high 11 assists.

Getting this opportunity is huge for Horton-Tucker as the Lakers would ideally want him to get as much experience as possible in preparation for their title defense.
