VIDEO: Lakers’ Talen Horton-Tucker looking like LeBron James with epic bullet pass

LeBron James Talen Horton-Tucker Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers guard Talen Horton-Tucker channeled his inner LeBron James during their blockbuster showdown against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night. Horton-Tucker took a page off of James’ book on the break and zipped an impressive bullet pass to Markieff Morris for the easy layup.

Watch the highlight play from the sophomore below:

Hey, with LeBron James out, somebody has to run Show Time for Los Angeles right? Dennis Schroder even got tossed during the game, which gave Horton-Tucker more playmaking duties on Saturday.

Horton-Tucker has definitely taken advantage of his opportunities with the Lakers being so short-handed for the past weeks. Obviously, James is still out due to his high ankle sprain, while Anthony Davis continues to recover from his calf strain.

THT got his third career start and second one on the season in this potential NBA Finals match-up against the Nets. The Lakers look like they didn’t miss their superstar tandem at all, as the depleted Lakers just blew out the surging Nets to the tune of a 126-101 victory. Horton-Tucker finished with 14 points, three rebounds, and a team-high 11 assists.

Getting this opportunity is huge for Horton-Tucker as the Lakers would ideally want him to get as much experience as possible in preparation for their title defense.
