The Los Angeles Lakers have met the Phoenix Suns three times through the first month of the season. Three times have both teams come into a skirmish on the court.
The Lakers and Suns have played three times in a month. In all of those games the teams have scuffled and needed to be separated.

The purple-and-gold have gotten their fair share of tanning, seeing the Suns already three times through their first 16 games of the season, as tempers have flared in every meeting between the two teams.
The latest scuffle came in a series of near-brawls with 3:17 left on Friday night, as the Suns won their first game of the series at the Staples Center after losing both of their prior chances at home. Phoenix led by nine when Lakers shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope preyed on Tyler Ulis after a timeout was called. The 5-foot-9 Ulis and the 6-foot-5 Caldwell-Pope started shoving each other, getting the attention from the officials.
Head coach Luke Walton could only explain the chippiness by the frequency of their games being so closely together to start this 2017-18 season.
Luke Walton on Lakers/Suns fight: “The games have been close, so that always makes the competitive spirit come out a little more, & I think because of the fact that we played 3 times in such a short amount of time, it’s kind of like the same idea behind a playoff series.” #Lakers

The Lakers won't see the Suns for a good while, having to wait until Feb. 6 to meet up again, hopefully not so sick of each other anymore.
