New Los Angeles Lakers guard Troy Daniels isn't too worried about the Purple and Gold getting acclimated with each other.

The Lakers were able to surround LeBron James and Anthony Davis with an above-average supporting cast. However, with a bunch of newcomers comes a lot of question marks, and one of the biggest concerns about the team is how long will it take for them to gel and play well alongside each other.

Daniels, nonetheless, doesn't think it will take plenty of time for the team to build camaraderie and string wins, saying that it shouldn't take more than a month for them to achieve that.

“To be honest, it shouldn’t take more than maybe a month,” Daniled told Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype when asked how long will it take to get all Lakers players on the same page.

“We’re all professionals here and we do this for a living. There shouldn’t be any excuses after that first month is over because we’ll have been playing together for a little while. We’ve been playing this game our whole lives and we get paid really good money to go out there and play at a high level, so I’m not looking for any excuses. I don’t look for us to make any excuses past that one month. Obviously, to get to the level that we need to be at for the playoffs and to win a championship, that will take a little longer. But as far as us playing together, getting that camaraderie and putting some wins together, it shouldn’t take that long at all.”

Some guys on the roster have already played with each other at some point in the past. Daniels himself spent one season learning from Jared Dudley, so that will obviously make things easier.

If the Lakers want to win a championship, they will need to make sure that everyone on the team is on the same page. No one should have a bigger ego than another player on the team. If everyone will allow themselves to be a part of the system — of the culture that the franchise is trying to rebuild –then their chances of winning the title will increase as the season progresses.
