The Los Angeles Lakers held their first practice since March on Saturday at Walt Disney World, but center Dwight Howard and shooting guard Danny Green weren’t able to participate.
According to Bill Oram of The Athletic, Howard and Green are at Disney World. However, the two Lakers veterans had issues with their COVID-19 tests.
Neither Danny Green nor Dwight Howard participated in the Lakers first practice in Orlando this evening due to testing glitches. Team hopes to have both of them available to practice tomorrow.

As Oram stated, the Lakers hope to have Danny Green and Dwight Howard at Sunday’s practice. Both players are vital contributors to a team that has championship aspirations.
Before the 2020 playoffs start, all 22 teams at Disney World will play in eight seeding games. The Lakers will take on the Los Angeles Clippers, Toronto Raptors, Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings before proceeding to the playoffs.
NBA fans are looking forward to that Clippers-Lakers game since both teams are title contenders.
Green and Howard are both in their first seasons with the Lakers, although this is Howard’s second stint with the franchise. Before the season was suspended, Green was averaging 8.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists, while Howard was putting up 7.5 points and 7.4 boards.
The Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference standings. The team is thrilled that Howard made the trip to Orlando, as there were rumblings the former superstar center was thinking about dropping out.
Los Angeles already lost Avery Bradley, who opted to sit out the restart since his son has a history of struggling to recover from respiratory illnesses.
