Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma and model Winnie Harlow have been going steady for over a year now, and she recently revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show how Kuzma shot his shot at her.
Naturally, Kuz slid in the DMs, though there was actually a hiccup that ultimately delayed what would be the start of their relationship.
“I got a DM a year prior from my boyfriend, and I never seen it,” Harlow told guest host tWitch. “I don't know what the glitch in the system with Instagram is, but that never came up for me!”
Kyle Kuzma didn't stop his pursuit:
“A year later, at the top of quarantine, he DMed me again. He posted a picture of me in an outfit and I was like, ‘Oh, hi!' … and he shot his shot. He slid into the DMs.”
“That was cute, and I was like, ‘Oh hey, how's quarantine been?'”
This turned into daily FaceTimes, and Kyle Kuzma ultimately asked Harlow to quarantine with him in Los Angeles during the pandemic. She said yes, and they're still going strong today.
Kuzma now has plenty of time to hang with his girlfriend after his Lakers were shockingly eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. Kuzma was awful in the series against the Phoenix Suns, averaging just 6.3 points on 29.2% shooting overall and 17.4% from 3-point range.
But while Kuz stunk it up on the court in the playoffs, he's obviously still winning off the court. Go enjoy that time off with the GF, Kyle Kuzma.
