The San Antonio Spurs have a major dilemma on their hands with the uncertain future of Kawhi Leonard. For most of the year, there were reports that the 2014 NBA Finals MVP has been unhappy with the Spurs organization, and on Friday afternoon, media members were informed by his camp that he was ready to leave San Antonio for good.

Immediately, Los Angeles became an interested trade destination for Leonard, and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski listed the Lakers as a preferred landing spot for Leonard. While Lakers fans are rejoicing at this news, it also appears evident that there's no reason for the Spurs to give into a trade with the Lakers unless they feel they're getting as much as possible back in the deal.

Because of that, Brian Windhorst of ESPN says the purple and gold likely won't be landing Leonard this summer.

Aside from the Lakers, the LA Clippers, Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, and Philadelphia 76ers have all expressed interest in the seven-year Spurs forward, but it remains to be seen who can come up with the best package for Leonard.

The Clippers have their 12th and 13th pick, as well as a couple of expiring contracts they could add in to sweeten the deal. They might be reluctant to make that deal, however, if Leonard, who has one more year left on his deal, doesn't at least verbally agree to an extension. The same goes for the Celtics, who could offer a package involving Terry Rozier, Jaylen Brown, and their own first round pick. The Kings are interesting in the sense that they have a very valuable pick in the second overall pick, as well as a slew of young players on their roster as well.

No one knows what exactly the Spurs will do over the next two-to-six weeks, but it looks like Leonard's time as a San Antonio Spur has come to an end.
