All 13-year-old Luke Burgin wanted to do was see Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James play live.

So, his mom made it happen.

Burgin's mom surprised him with tickets to see James and the Lakers take on the Denver Nuggets in Colorado and the little boy was overcome with emotion.

Apparently, Burgin became especially inspired by James as he watched the Lakers star overcome obstacles to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to their first NBA championship back in 2016 when the Cavs became the first team in NBA history to erase a 3-1 series deficit in the Finals.

This is what sports it's all about. LeBron James is the most popular basketball player on the planet and just seeing him play live is enough to make some kids day.

Now, just imagine if James sees this video and decides to take it a step further and arrange a meet and greet with Burgin?

The Lakers, after defeating the Cavs on Monday, are now 33-7 on the season. They have the best record in the Western Conference and won nine games in a row.

LeBron is averaging 25.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 10.7 assists on the season for the Lakers. He's shooting 49.4 percent from the field, 35.1 percent from beyond the arc and 69.7 percent from the free-throw line.
