Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers made a crazy half-twisting halfcourt shot against the Brooklyn Nets. Sadly, the circus shot didn't count.

Peep the clip below to see Davis swish the net. After the whistle, Davis hoped that his shot would count. So he just tossed a prayer up.

Though it didn't count, it nevertheless showcased Davis' smooth touch from literally anywhere on the floor. It's one of the main reasons why the Lakers traded for him.

Not only does the Lakers star forward bring all the traditional things that a big man does, but he can also stretch the defense with his reliable stroke from deep and the perimeter.

Not to mention his defensive capabilities which have been a critical part of the Lakers' success this year. Davis, without a doubt, is a top-five player in this league.
