The Los Angeles Lakers are still grieving from the unexpected loss of Kobe Bryant, and the entire basketball world is with them in their mourning.

After a relative period of silence ahead of Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Lakers finally started their tribute to arguably the greatest player to ever don the Purple and Gold.

The Lakers tapped one of Hollywood's best singers to put on a show that befits a player of Kobe's stature. Usher did not disappoint as his singing made the entire Staples Center wet in the eyes (Via Lakers Twitter).

It's hard to keep a straight face when you hear a singer like Usher pouring out his soul on his performance. Based on how passionate he was, one can tell that Kobe Bryant has had an impact on his life as a basketball fan as well.

Not only was Usher's soulful singing the center of the tribute, but the video of players, staff, analysts, and fans crying over the news of the death of the Lakers great is also hitting fans in the feels.

It's unlikely that everyone will completely get over Bryant's untimely passing, but celebrating his life on and off the court is a good way of seeing him off. This tribute from the Lakers was nothing short of perfect.
