LeBron James found himself yet again on the spotlight of an inexplicable turnover that ultimately cost the Los Angeles Lakers the game against the visiting Denver Nuggets.

This time it's arguably even more bizarre considering that it happened on a move that almost any other team does when trying to get a bucket while using as little of the clock as possible – the inbound ball roll. However, unlike most teams that usually pick it up the moment it crosses half court (although rarely does the opposition attempt to snatch it anyway), James got a little too greedy by letting it reach near the right wing – and the rest was history.

Strangely, there wasn't even any legit attempt from the Nuggets' Paul Millsap to get the ball and it was all James that led to the turnover. His listless body language after the infraction was also a bit worrisome for Lakers fans and could lead to more controversial news pieces now that the fizzling ball club is on a four-game losing streak after the 115-99 defeat.

Fortunately for the three-time NBA Champion, he was able to accomplish a personal feat during the night that's bound to invite more attention – and that's overtaking Michael Jordan for fourth place on the NBA All-Time Scoring List. But after a short high, expect James to focus on getting his team back to winning with eyes on the bigger picture.
