LeBron James gave the Los Angeles Lakers quite a scare in the second quarter of their Western Conference Finals series opener against the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

The entire Laker nation held their breaths, as The King went down hard after a hard drive to the teeth of the Nuggets D. The four-time MVP appeared like he tweaked his right ankle after colliding with Jerami Grant.

But being the absolute soldier that he is, LeBron James shrugged off that hard fall and seemed to be back to his usual self just moments later. The 35-year-old Lakers superstar was back to serving posters in no time, as he punched it down just a few possessions later.

LeBron had a nice pick-and-roll action going with Alex Caruso before freeing himself up for a two-handed hammer over Grant and Jamal Murray.
