LeBron James' arrival in Hollywood came with the expectation of being harnessed more as an off-the-ball threat, thanks to the Los Angeles Lakers' bevy of playmakers led by Lonzo Ball and Rajon Rondo.

To the delight of purple and gold fanatics, that was in full effect on one play Saturday night when the Lakers visited the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center. In the third quarter of their matchup, Lonzo Ball pushed the ball up the court for a quick attack when he saw a sprinting LeBron James.

That was the cue for the UCLA product to throw a pass from midcourt straight to the flying locomotive that is James.

As seen, the pass was just as effortless as the throwdown. It's a testament to the overflowing talent running through this squad with these two athletes at the forefront.

Lonzo Ball has struggled with consistency early on, no thanks in part to injuries. But LeBron James has been known for carrying teams on his shoulders so that's among the perks that come along with the Lakers' max player.

The Lakers took care of business against the Kings, 101-86. James had 25 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three makes from long distance. Ball, on the other hand, struggled with his shot all night, going 2-for-10 from the field to finish with four points. He also had three rebounds and four assists to his name.

Los Angeles has won two in a row since signing veteran big man Tyson Chandler after his buyout from the Phoenix Suns.
