LeBron James and Lonzo Ball are slowly building that chemistry with each other and bringing back showtime for the Los Angeles Lakers. During the second quarter of the Lakers’ road game against the Orlando Magic, Ball connected with James on a pick-and-roll play that led to a monster flush from The King.

But it wasn’t just any normal pass from the Big Baller Brand advocate. He gave a slick no-look hand-off after going for a spin to confuse the defense as James made his cut to the basket. It was a perfectly synchronized play from the two new teammates.

However, this was just one of the few positives on the night for the Lakers. They just dropped the recently-concluded game to the Magic, 130-117. The loss snaps a four-game winning streak for the purple and gold.

The fierce slam was just two of LeBron James’ 22 points on the night. He added four rebounds and seven assists and shot 8-of-19 from the field.

Lonzo Ball, on the other hand, had an awful night shooting the basketball. He had a goose egg on the scoreboard as he failed to make any of his five attempts from the field. He did punch in five rebounds, four assists, and two steals to his name to cap off his evening.

Nonetheless, the Lakers will get an extended look at developing the chemistry between Lonzo and LeBron. The sophomore guard out of UCLA will get all the minutes he can handle given that backup point guard Rajon Rondo will be out for approximately 4-5 weeks with a broken hand.
