Chicago Bulls legend and NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan joked about his infamous crying meme during his moving speech during the Kobe Bryant eulogy the Los Angeles Lakers hosted at Staples Center on Monday.

The joke got quite the reaction from the crowd:

Bryant is the closest thing we will likely ever see to Jordan. Kobe certainly left an incredible legacy both on and off the court, and heā€™ll be remembered as one of the most iconic athletes in the history of sports given what he did for so many people in the game.

In 1,346 career games for the Los Angeles Lakers, Bryant cemented himself as one of the greatest Lakers of all time, and arguably the greatest. He finished with career averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.

The 6-foot-6 shooting guard was an 18-time All-Star, two-time scoring champion, 15-time All-NBA team member, two-time Finals MVP and five-time champion with the Purple and Gold.

The Lakers retired Bryantā€™s No. 8 and 24 jerseys last year. Now, the late NBA legend is set to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer as part of an incredible class of 2020.

Jordan celebrated his birthday in Chicago during All-Star Weekend. A Kobe Bryant jersey was made out of flowers at the party.
