Los Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo has wasted no time making his presence felt against the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. He is now turning back the clock for a vintage performance to try to help the Lakers secure their 17th championship in franchise history.

Although Rondo has thrived in his role as facilitator through the postseason, he took its upon himself to go in his bag for the spectacular layup finish.

It is no secret that LeBron James and Anthony Davis have done most of the heavy lifting throughout the Finals for the Lakers. However, Rondo's skill set as a playmaker has been on full display after finishing the first half shooting a perfect 6-for-6 from the field for 13 points. He has also tacked on four rebounds and two assists to go along with it.

Rondo's veteran experience has served as stabilizing factor for the Lakers off the bench. He will need to keep it going in the second half in order to quell any hopes the Heat may have of a comeback.
