LaMelo Ball, the younger brother of Lakers star Lonzo Ball, has already begun his professional basketball career in the Lithuanian league. The ball-dominant young player amazed fans and scouts with his penchant for tough shotmaking and highlight plays.

In many instances, Ball would commonly travel up the court and take a difficult shot. On his good nights, Ball made those shots and became a basketball sensation. Ball even went as far as to score 92 points in a high school game, which is an impressive feat regardless of how he accomplished it.

After LiAngelo Ball was arrested in China for allegedly stealing, his father LaVar Ball took him out of college. Subsequently, the patriarch also took LaMelo out of high school, and the two are now playing in the Lithuania league. Although their performances have been average at best, LaMelo truly stands out as a player that can potentially become a solid NBA player down the road.

However, on Monday night, it has been announced that the youngest Ball brother has been diagnosed with a minor leg injury that will keep him out of the lineup for a while, per Bryan Kalbrosky of Lonzo Wire.

Here's the actual moment where he hurt himself:

“Melo is hurt right now so he’s not the same guy,” said LaVar Ball, who announced that his son will not play tomorrow because things aren’t going right for him. “He’s done.”

In Monday night's game, Ball scored just 10 points, while shooting 0-7 from 3-point range. LaVar claims that his injury has hindered his son on the court, and will likely keep him out of the lineup until he feels better. Hopefully, LaMelo can get back healthy and on the court soon.
