ESPN's The Last Dance docu-series has painted a clear picture of both the good and bad sides of Michael Jordan's highly competitive nature. His former Chicago Bulls teammate Toni Kukoc had witnessed MJ's fiery attitude, particularly behind closed doors during team practices.

As seen in the latest episode of The Last Dance, the retired Croatian forward shared that his Bulls teammates would receive an earful of expletive tirades from Jordan whenever they fail to live up to his standards of excellence on the hardwood.

“Everyone was always alert around Michael after a bad game. He would say ‘you motherfu**ers didn’t do a thing today.’ Come ready tomorrow to practice,” Toni Kukoc recalled.

Michael Jordan was viewed as the poster boy of the league after leading Chicago to its first three-peat from 1991-93. Fans adored him as the epitome of a sportsman and a perfect ambassador of the sport.

His Airness, however, was criticized following juicy revelations from Sam Smith's book “Jordan Rules.” The book divulged Jordan's darker side and how he treated some of his underwhelming teammates.

Not everything ended with a verbal confrontation either, as former Bulls players Steve Kerr and Will Purdue revealed that Jordan went as far as punching them during separate confrontations. Per Perdue, there were other players who were also on the other end of Jordan's fists.

Jordan's brand of tough love, meanwhile, did bear fruits for the franchise during its dynasty in the '90s. Although not everyone agrees with his approach, MJ demanded excellence from his teammates day in and day out.
