Team SoloMid had a massive challenge ahead of the 2021 season. The departure of their star player Soren “Bjerg” Bjergsen has left a massive void in the team. It’s unthinkable for many fans for any player to come close to replacing one of the best players in the NA region but TSM seems to think they’ve found the missing piece. Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage will play as TSM’s new Mid Laner next season.
Continuing the legacy with PowerOfEvil
It’s time for a new era.

POE has an extensive League of Legends career since he started competing in 2013. He is most famous for playing as the Mid Laner of EU’s Unicorns of Love and Origen but he has yet to win a local title of his own. To his credit, PowerOfEvil helped OG win the IEM Season X tournament in San Jose, USA back in 2015.
Let’s make one thing clear, he is no Bjergsen but to be completely fair, no western player can ever replace Bjergsen. The German Mid Laner definitely has some huge shoes to fill but he’s no slouch in his position. PowerOfEvil has owned the Mid position to the best of his ability over an extensive career. He also has the express advantage of being coached directly by his predecessor. There are very few players that can transition into a new position with such close guidance. It will definitely benefit POE in his journey with TSM.
The pressure is on for PowerOfEvil to continue the successes of the venerable Team SoloMid. Regardless of what happens next season, we’ll surely be able to see great plays from TSM as always.
