Orlando Magic big man Nikola Vucevic has a unique proposition for NBA Draft prospect Luka Doncic. It seems as though Vucevic is feeling quite generous. In fact, “Vuc,” as he's come to be known, has said that he would give Doncic permission to drive his Porsche 911 every day if he were to land in Orlando.

Doncic is a 19-year-old, 6-foot-8 guard who hails from Slovenia. He's been a highly-scouted prospect for some time now — and for good reason. He's a EuroLeague champion and MVP (both in 2018) who possesses great ball-handling skills and excellent court vision.

In 61 EuroLeague games played last season, Doncic racked up averages of 14.5 points on 45.6 percent shooting from the field (30.9 percent from beyond the arc), 5.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.1 steals in 25.0 minutes per.

Doncic, who is expected to be a lottery pick in this year's Draft, makes strong drives to the hoop, which often results in drawn fouls. In fact, he averaged 8.3 free-throw attempts per 40 minutes of play. His ball-handling skills are excellent as well, with variations of crossovers and step-backs.

“Doncic is a truly unique prospect as a 6’8” primary initiator who is a legitimate outside shooting threat,” The Stepian writes in their recent Draft profile. “His amazing production at the highest level of non-NBA basketball sets him apart from past international prospects, as there’s really no way to know how his game will translate to the NBA and continue to progress. This both works for and against him; he could either come into the league as an All-Star-caliber player from day one who continues to improve, or he could follow in the paths of past young European stars like Nikola Mirotic and Ricky Rubio and fail to improve much once he gets to the NBA. That said, he’s an elite shot creator with generational basketball IQ and an incredible overall skill level for a player his size. He projects to add a ton of value right away in the NBA, and with athletic improvement and consistent three-point shooting could become one of the top players in the world.”

This year's NBA Draft is set to take place inside the Barclays Center at 7:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, June, 21st. Whether or not the Magic (sixth pick) will be able to land Doncic remains to be seen, but it sounds like at least one member of the team is open to the idea.
