Following their humiliating 115-85 loss at Amway Center to an injury-plagued Utah Jazz on Saturday night, the Orlando Magic have apparently gotten a huge wakeup call in one of the worst ways possible.

According to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel, the lopsided 40-point loss to the Jazz tied the largest home defeat ever for the Magic and the fourth-worst in franchise history.

One player who was very vocal about the bad loss was center Nikola Vucevic, who did not hold back on how he felt about the team's effort.

“We should all feel embarrassed to put this kind of performance in front of anywhere but especially in front of our home fans,” Vucevic said. “Just an embarrassment. For us as professional players, we should have more pride and respond in some way. But we didn’t do that.”

Vucevic, who finished with eight points, three steals and two blocked shots, did not score in double figures for only the third time this year.

Magic small forward Evan Fournier, who had 11 points and three rebounds, was also very unhappy with Orlando's effort on Saturday night.

“I thought tonight we looked like the old Magic,” Fournier said. “Just bad offense that leads to bad defense. We just kept playing bad offense and kept playing bad defense. We never had a stretch during the game where we were actually playing good. From zero to 48 minutes, it was bad. It was just a really bad performance. It’s unacceptable.”

After starting off with an impressive 6-2 record, the Magic have now lost four straight games to put that at 8-8 on the season. Orlando will look to right the ship on Monday night when they host the Indiana Pacers, who also have an identical 8-8 record.
