Shelvin Mack is currently a player for the Orlando Magic. He is averaging 4.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.6 assists as the Magic's third-string point guard. Nonetheless, after playing seven years in the NBA, Mack is already expressing his desire to become a head coach one day, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.

“When I’m not playing, I’m still actually engaged in the game and seeing what the other team’s doing and just trying to help out and give my teammates a little gem there that could help us go a long way,” Mack said. “I’m always into the game, and I think I do a great job of seeing what someone’s doing and realizing what they’re going to do the next possession. Mack is only 27 years old, yet he's already thinking about becoming a head coach. There's always been a trend of former NBA players becoming head coaches when their careers are over. Head coach Frank Vogel had some praise for Mack in regards to his future dream of becoming a head coach.

“Shelvin’s a coach,” Vogel said.

The Magic will face the Kings on Tuesday afternoon, and Mack will have to be on his A-game to help his team get the win. Maybe somewhere down the line, Mack will coach his team to victory instead of playing for it.
