After a historic collapse in the Champions League quarterfinals last season, Man City has advanced to the semifinals of this year's competition after a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday and 4-2 on aggregate.

There were some tense moments for the visitors, who went down by a goal in the first 15 minutes after 17-year-old Brit Jude Bellingham netted for the hosts. It wasn't until the 55th minute where City finally capitalized with Riyad Mahrez bagging the equalizer from a spot-kick.

Man City had a boatload of opportunities and eventually sealed the deal late in the second half when youngster Phil Foden fired home a beautiful strike from just outside of the 18-yard box. It was the Englishmen's third goal in this season's UCL campaign and 13th of the year across all competitions.

The Citizens now progress to the semifinals where they will face PSG, who shocked title-holders Bayern Munich on Tuesday. With the Premier League title already in the bag, a very first Champions League title will be the ultimate focus for Man City.

It will also be two familiar managers facing off, with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino now in the dugout in Paris. Real Madrid also took out Liverpool and will face Chelsea in the other semifinal.
