Man United shocked the entire world on Friday when they reunited with club legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who abruptly left Juventus. After an already impressive transfer window where the Red Devils signed Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho, many believe United now has what it takes to contend for a Premier League title.

However, former Man United icon Gary Neville, who is now a pundit for Sky Sports, doesn't exactly believe his former team is going to outclass everyone, making it clear that European champions Chelsea are still a level above them:

At this point, we really don't know what to expect from Ronaldo. Sure, he was once an absolute superstar at Old Trafford who bagged goals for fun, but he's now 36-years-old and also just played in Serie A for several years. The Premier League is a whole different beast and there is no guarantee he's going to score 20+ goals for Man United again.

The Blues meanwhile, are extremely strong from front to back after adding Romelu Lukaku to their attack this summer. Defensively, they're world-class and that showed on Saturday, holding Liverpool to a 1-1 draw after Reece James was sent off prior to the halftime whistle.

Man United still has a lot to prove, despite their reinforcements. The competition is fierce, especially for the title, with Chelsea, Man City, and Liverpool all capable of capturing the ultimate prize. Their success will ultimately come down to just how clinical Cristiano Ronaldo can be during his second stint in Manchester.
