Man United's newly appointed manager Ralf Rangnick shares a brutal admission after his team's narrow 1-0 victory against Norwich.

After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's sacking due to a horrid start to this season, Rangnick was appointed to ramp up Man United's quality, especially in the tactical department. Rangnick's arrival was immediately felt, garnering zero losses and two clean sheets to his name.

However, despite a clean sheet against Norwich, many consider this an unconvincing victory. United's only goal came from Cristiano Ronaldo's converted penalty, as the defensive highlights were also from goalkeeper David De Gea's world-class saves.

After the win, Rangnick voiced out his significant concerns regarding the team's lackluster performance.

“It’s another clean sheet but still a lot of work to do.”

“It’s also a question of body language and physicality and this was one of the major issues that we could have done better.”

“The second half I was not at all happy with the amount of corners that we gave away, but we got the three points.”

Still, the German boss seems pretty optimistic about his team's performance level, given the numerous inconsistencies and struggles this year.

“We have conceded the highest amount of goals in the top ten. Now we have two clean sheets which is good but we still need to improve on that away, especially against physical teams or teams that attack high like Norwich did.”

Man United indeed is at a better place after a horrendous start this season, standing at fifth just tied with West Ham with 27 points.
