Paul Pogba hasn't played for Manchester United since early November and it appears he isn't going to suit up again anytime soon. The Frenchman, who suffered a groin injury on international duty later that month, has hit another setback in his rehab and is expected to be out for another four to five weeks.

This is what Red Devils manager Ralf Rangnick had to say about the 28-year-old's recovery. Via the Guardian:

“As far as I know, I was told a week ago, it would be a minimum of at least another four or five weeks before he [Pogba] is fit for training again,” said the Manchester United boss.

“I saw him this morning before the training session, he was in the locker room, and I hope he will be back as soon as possible.

“Right now, he’s not been part of the training group and, even if he was back whenever, two, three or four weeks, it will take some time.

“It’s one thing to be training fit but, on the other hand, he needs to be fit for the match and competition in either the Premier League or the Champions League and this will still take some time.”

Of course, Pogba is still deciding if he wants to renew his contract with Manchester United as he's set to become a free agent in the summer. There's a firm belief Pogba could move on, with the likes of Real Madrid and PSG reportedly interested in his services.

Pogba fell out of favor under former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a smashing start to the campaign, notching seven assists in his first seven appearances. He's yet to play for Rangnick and it looks like that won't happen until at least February now. Needless to say, it will be very difficult for Pogba to break into the Manchester United starting XI after such a prolonged amount of time sidelined.
