Markelle Fultz is further boosting his stock by participating in the NBA Draft Combine. Many coaches have had the chance to see him showcase his skills up close, which strengthens his case of being a top pick in this year's draft.

That said, even with only 15 percent chance of landing the first overall pick, the Philadelphia 76ers are making it known that they are very interested in drafting the Maryland native. Apparently, the feeling is mutual as Fultz is also intrigued with the prospect of him playing in Philly.

It was also reported that the Washington product prefers to play close to home, which makes the Sixers more appealing to him.

Fultz is projected to be a top-two pick in the lottery, and the best chance of the 76ers will be to have one of the first two selections in order to secure his services. However, it could also be that the 18-year-old is also saying only positive things about the other teams and cities he could play for to keep them all interested in him.

What ever the case may be, it will be an exciting prospect to see him run the plays for the Sixers, who already have a young and talented frontcourt that includes Joel Embiid, Dario Saric and Ben Simmons, just to name a few. Fultz's potential addition will only make them better and could definitely become a future powerhouse in the league.
