Tiger Woods just finished up his final round at the Masters on Sunday. While Woods struggled on the weekend with consecutive rounds of 78 to finish at 13-over, it was still an accomplishment to make the cut and make it through all 72 holes after his devastating car crash in early 2021.

With his 2022 Masters now in the books, everybody is wondering what Woods' status will be for the next majors. The next one up is the PGA Championship at Southern Hills in just over a month. The U.S. Open is in June at The Country Club. The Open Championship is in July at St. Andrews. Tiger is fully planning on playing in The Open Championship, and he's going to do all he can to play in the PGA Championship:

Like the PGA Championship, it seems as if Tiger is totally up in the air for the U.S. Open.

Woods got off to a roaring start these Masters, firing a 1-under 71 in the first round on Thursday. While he stumbled a bit on Friday, he recovered and made the cut at 1-over, putting himself in position for a nice finish if he played well on the weekend.

Unfortunately, the bottom fell out for Tiger as the Masters went on. That's not all that surprising given his injury situation. He put a lot of pressure on his body over this past week, so he couldn't sustain his strong play and ran out of gas.

But, again, there's no shame in that given the long road back from his accident. Playing, making the cut and then finishing all 72 holes at the Masters is a huge step forward. He will learn from this and look to improve heading into the next majors.
