Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki got into a bit of a road mishap a couple of days ago and called on a former Mavs teammate in Deron Williams to help get his minivan out of the mud. Williams, who currently resides in Dallas, called out Nowitzki on Instagram for disrupting their self-quarantine.

The former league MVP later took to Twitter to explain his side of the story. Of course, he didn't forget to thank the three-time All-Star for his massive assist:

Good to have a friend like Deron Williams who's always there when you need him.

As for Dirk Nowitzki, we don't know how he got in that predicament, but we have a lot of questions for the former league MVP. How did this happen? Most importantly, though, where are you going and why aren't you in self-quarantine?

Of course, the last question pertains to the on-going coronavirus that has taken the entire world by storm. The virus has been spreading like wildfire, affecting the lives of so many people across the globe. Hopefully, Williams and Nowitzki's friendly interaction didn't make the world's current situation any worse.

Williams and Nowitzki played with the Mavs for one and a half seasons. Both were already past their respective primes when they joined forces in Dallas in 2015.

Of course, Dirk Nowitzki is almost synonymous with Dallas at this point after spending two amazing decades with the Mavs. Williams, meanwhile, was most known for this stints with the Utah Jazz and Brooklyn Nets.
