The Dallas Mavericks used a fantastic performance from Luka Doncic to snag Game 5 from the Los Angeles Clippers to take a 3-2 lead and send the Clippers on the sudden brink of elimination. After the game, former NBA player Kendrick Perkins had an interesting, albeit unique, tweet in regards to Luka's huge game.
Luka jump on over the fence and found out the dog that was barking wasn’t nothing but a damn Pomeranian and went got his ball! He served the Clippers a church dinner tonight that included an family order of 42 leg quarters , 12 pieces of cornbread and 8 slices of pound cakes!

Isn't that just marvelous? It perfectly depicts the tweet from Perkins. Credit to Perkins as well for an insanely creative, thoughtful tweet after the Mavs victory in Game 5.
Speaking of Luka's incredible performance, one in which he dropped 42 points on 17-37 from the field. Doncic also contributed 14 assists and eight boards as the Mavs topped the Clippers 105-100 to continue a wild trend of the home team losing every single game so far in the series.
The Mavs jumped out to a 2-0 series lead and looked as if they were going to make easy work of the Clippers. Then LA won both games in Dallas and it felt like the series shifted towards the Clippers. The came Game 5, where the Mavs used another tremendous outing from Doncic to steal a game at Staples Center.
Now, the Clippers are one loss away from a first-round exit with a do-or-die Game 6 scheduled for Friday evening in Dallas, where the Clippers have yet to lose a game in the series. Can the Clippers find a way to win and force a sudden-death Game 7 and head back to Staples Center?
Or will Doncic and the Mavs upset the Clippers and advance to the second round?
Either way, Luka Doncic continues to defy the odds and is putting on an absolutely legendary performance in this series. If his unworldly performance in Game 5 is any indication, Kendrick Perkins should have another hilarious tweet after Game 6.
