Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic couldn't be any prouder after witnessing Real Madrid beat Liverpool in the Champions League final on Sunday.

The Mavs guard started his professional career as a hooper with Real Madrid, so it isn't a surprise he was all-out in his support of the club as its football team fought in Paris at Stade de France.

On Twitter, Doncic expressed how ecstatic he is to see Real Madrid obtain Champions League glory. It has been four years since Los Blancos last won the competition, having dominated it for three straight years from 2016 to 2018, but now they are back.

It is Real Madrid's 14th Champions League trophy, and of course, Luka Doncic made sure to remind that to everyone. They are already the most successful team in UCL history, and the latest win just made it more difficult for any other team to topple them from their place.

Real Madrid won 1-0 off a Vinicius Jr. goal near the hour mark. Carlo Ancelotti's men then held on, thanks in large part to a fine performance from Thibaut Courtois.

While the Mavs failed to win in the West Finals and and advance to the championship round, Luka has certainly found another reason to celebrate. And he is not alone, with Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid and other superstars joining the Real Madrid festivities.
