Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic played only 21 minutes in the Mavs' win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, as he was ejected in the third quarter. Despite that, however, he was able to make history on Sunday night.

While overshadowed by his controversial ejection, Doncic's 15-5-5 performance for the Mavs allowed him to become only the second player to make 5,000 points and 1,500 assists in less than 200 games, joining Oscar Robertson in the process. Per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News, he is also the third player after Robertson and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James to record 5,000 points, 1,500 assists and 1,500 rebounds in the first three seasons.

Luka Doncic recently broke through the 5,000-point mark, making him the fastest player in Mavs history to achieve such feat. No active player has also done it faster than the Dallas sueprstar.

While his ejection was the talk of the town throughout Sunday, even after the game, Luka's latest feat is proof that he can make an impact even in limited minutes.

The Mavs playmaker has been named as the player Under-23 that general managers in the NBA would want to build around with, and his numbers show why. Doncic is simply an impactful player on several areas of the floor, and while his defense leaves much to be desired, he is still far from hitting his prime and can only improve moving forward.

Forget Doncic's ejection and focus at the positive: here's a player that can do a lot of things on the court and impact winning at a really high level.
