Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has had a season most rookies can only dream about in their first NBA campaign.

Yet, the 20-year-old shooting guard just keeps it coming with the milestones — currently averaging 20.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.6 assists with a 55.0 percent True Shooting percentage.

Since 1984, only six rookies have scored over 20 points per game and had a TS percentage above 55.

Doncic joins the company of Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Shaquille O'Neal, Alonzo Mourning and Tim Duncan who've all accomplished that feat, per ESPN's Kirk Goldsberry.

The Mavs lost a tough battle to the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday 112-105. Doncic arguably had the worst performance of his career thus, turning the ball over nine different times and shooting 5-of-18 from the field in the game.

“He's an emotional player, but he just turned 20,” Mavs teammate Dirk Nowitzki told reporters of Doncic, per Dave Jackson of the Associated Press.

“He'll be fine. I'm not worried about him. He's had a heck of a rookie season so far and he's going to keep attacking for us.”

Doncic also shot an indelible 1-of-9 from the free throw line, which led to him putting in some overtime work in the gym following the game.

Luka Doncic and Trae Young are still duking it out to see who will be crowned Rookie of the Year, though Doncic currently still has the upper hand.
