Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic played for Slovenia in an exhibition game against Italy on Saturday, and it's safe to say he's in the best condition of his life.

The Mavs playmaker didn't waste his time this offseason after losing to the Golden State Warriors in the West Finals, immediately putting in the work to keep his body in great shape. Sure enough, his work has paid off as he showcased the elite vision, playmaking and scoring that have made him one of the biggest stars in the NBA today.

Against Italy, Doncic just had his way all over the floor, throwing no-look dimes and even unleashing his signature deadly step-back triple.

Here are some of the highlights from Doncic's game with Slovenia vs. Italy:

Of course Slovenia won the friendly game, with the Mavs superstar putting up a stat line of 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists and one steal.

Luka Doncic still has a long summer ahead, as he is expected to play for his nation in the World Championship qualifiers and the EuroBasket in July and September, respectively. That means he'll have little rest in the offseason, though it could bode well in his desire to elevate his game in hopes of leading the Mavs to the championship in 2022-23.
