Luka Doncic came out firing for the Dallas Mavericks in the first half of their series-opener against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The Mavs superstar, however, looked like he was nursing a bit of a knock as they headed to the locker room for the halftime break.
Doncic was seen clutching his shoulder during the second quarter. It looked like he was in some pain and at one point, he even showed a bit of frustration while trying to shake off the injury (via ClutchPoints on Twitter):

There is no word yet on the injury but it is clear that the Mavs star was not feeling good about his right shoulder. Luka Doncic has been playing at an elite level of late and this is the last thing the Mavs need. He has pretty much carried his team throughout the playoffs and an injury would certainly diminish their chances against a powerhouse Warriors side significantly.
We will be sure to pass along any new information as they come. Let's just all hope that this is nothing serious and that it won't limit Luka for the rest of the game — or the series, for that matter.
