Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle got tossed in the fourth quarter of their frustrating 129-114 home loss against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Mavs coach would explain himself after the game.

Carlisle lost his cool at the officials and had some choice words for them before getting thrown out of Friday night's contest. Dallas Morning News' Brad Townsend had a close up view of the NBA champion coach's exit:

The Mavs coach didn't have much to say about the officiating after the game. He was just shocked about the kind of calls – or missed calls – they were getting.

He also made sure to avoid any referee-related fines or penalties, especially after apparently spending so much during the Holiday season, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

Rick Carlisle argued a late call by the officials when they granted the coach's challenge by Lakers coach Frank Vogel. Los Angeles wanted a review of the out of bounds call the refs made in favor of the Mavericks, but Dallas had already inbounded the ball.

However, even if the Mavs already had live possession, the referees still gave Los Angeles the chance to challenge. This was the final straw for Carlisle, who went berserk on the officials and took off his jacket as he made his way back to the locker room following his ejection.

Carlisle, who also had an exchange of words with LeBron James during a timeout, was not the only one who threw a fit in last night's loss against the no. 1 seeded Lakers. Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic pulled out his best Hulk Hogan impersonation when he ripped off his jersey in frustration late in the second quarter.

The Mavs had a long evening with LeBron and company taking control of the game early and never really looking back.
