The first-round duel between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers has been one of the most heated series this postseason, so much so that Tim Hardaway Jr. has an ongoing beef with the LA bench.

According to Hardaway, the Clippers bench has been yapping a lot on the sidelines.

Instead of yapping right back, Hardaway knows how important it is to keep his composure. If he retaliates, the Mavs swingman knows that there's a possibility that the situation would escalate and the referees won't hesitate to hand out technicals and slap the players with fines or even suspensions.

Besides, Hardaway is one of the key players of the Mavs in the playoffs. Prior to Tuesday's Game 5, he was averaging 19.4 points in the series against the Clippers. He is the team's third-leading scorer behind Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis.

While Doncic is the headliner of most Mavs' wins, the rest of the team has been receiving credit for their stellar performance as well. After all, opposing teams have been keying in on Doncic, giving the rest of Dallas some opportunities to score.

This has subsequently freed up the likes of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Seth Curry. The two have delivered by knocking down open shot after open shot, and when Doncic heads to the bench, their showcase their playmaking abilities as well.

The Mavs are down 3-2,  a loss away from being booted out by the Clippers. They had a horrendous showing in Game 5 after the Clips overwhelmed their defense with a 154-point explosion.
