Dallas Mavericks star Kristaps Porzingis' left foot has been sore as of late. Fortunately, after their 102-98 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, an X-ray yielded negative results for the Mavs forward, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

In the win, the 7-foot-3 big man crawled his way to 13 points on 4-of-15 shooting from the field and 3-8 from deep. He also had eight rebounds and three assists.

The 2019-20 season is Porzingis' first season back after the gruesome ACL injury in February 2018. He's been relatively healthy thus far but fans can't help but be concerned with his health.

After all, ACL tears usually change the course of the career of a player. Along with Luka Doncic, the man dubbed ‘The Unicorn' is one of the focal points of the offense. So far, he's averaging 17.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists.

There are games, however, where Porzingis mightily struggles from the field which is again, one of the main concerns constantly being brought up by analysts. However, most of them are confident that as the season progresses, Porzingis will finally get his game going.

For now, Mavs fans should be pleased that Porzingis is healthy. The team has been doing extremely well thus far with a 20-10 record. There's a ton of season left and they need Porzingis in every single game moving forward.
