Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic let Chicago Bulls swingman Shaq Harrison know how many points he has scored for the Mavs at the end of the third quarter of their Monday night showdown.

Harrison looked like he was talking to the referees, complaining about Doncic's style of play. The Mavs star noticed this and let him knew that he has 34 points with one quarter left.

Shaq Harrison was tasked to defend Luka Doncic, and they went at it all game long.

While it was a notable effort from Harrison, the 20-year-old Slovenian — one of the leading MVP candidates at this point of the year — was simply too good for him. Luka ended up with 38 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to help the Mavs secure an important 118-110 victory over the struggling Bulls.

This marks a successful bounce-back win from their loss to the Charlotte Hornets. The Mavs have a tough schedule ahead, featuring duels against the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers. Hopefully, Doncic and crew can squeeze out a victory over the tough stretch, especially with Kristaps Porzingis still recovering from a knee soreness.
