Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic continues to take the league by storm, with his latest victims being some Denver Nuggets fans sitting courtside at Tuesday night's Mavs-Nuggets game.

The Slovenian rookie trash talked the fans after crossing over Mason Plumlee, then splashing in a deep three-pointer. It seemed to be good-natured, as he smiled after the words and jogged down the court.

Even though he made the tough shot, Luka Doncic endured a rough shooting night against the Nuggets. He shot a paltry 5-of-15 from the field and made only three out of nine three-point attempts. The Mavs eventually lost the game 126-118.

Even after an off-night, it seems the rookie's confidence grows with each game. He has already put together some impressive numbers for the Mavericks, averaging 18.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 44 percent from the field.

Luka Doncic has particularly impressed opponents with his poise and maturity on the floor, as well as a step-back jumper that is particularly deadly.

The Mavs are certainly pleased with what they've seen from Doncic so far, and it looks like he could be the best rookie in a fairly deep draft class. The team has outdone expectations for the season so far and is part of the playoff hunt in the Western Conference.

Both Doncic and the Mavs have a bright future ahead of them. The sky is the limit for the 19-year-old, and he looks to be a piece that the team can build around for years to come.
