Mike Tyson has been in a strange situation in his boxing career as many are hoping he comes back, while others don't want to see him fight again. The legendary boxer recently spoke out about his future and it looks like he's set to be done.
Mike Tyson was recently on the Full Send Podcast where he was asked about his boxing future. The former heavyweight champion did not hold back as he talked about his future. He also revealed he was offered a huge 100 million purse to box a YouTuber.
“You know something that’s interesting,” Mike Tyson said (h/t Ryan Harkness of MMA Mania). “I think it was Jake, the youngest one.”
“I’m not even interested in doing this stuff,” Mike Tyson added. “It was just fun at first. If it was back when I first started, yes, and we were both fighting on the same card and both active, yeah, we could do it. But it just turned … it just turned bad. It didn’t turn out right.”
“Every, they say it’s 10, but it’s like every 12, or 13 months … boom, something’s missing,” Mike Tyson said. “Like something’s missing. I give it to … boom, I’m losing muscle mass. Boom, it’s something. It’s always something different. And I don’t know, I’m just … guys want to fight me for 100 million bucks. I don’t think I’ll ever do stuff like that anymore.”
Mike Tyson had some issues in his last bout with Triller against Roy Jones Jr., he wasn't paid correctly and it soured him on future bouts. The boxing legend appears to be truly done with the sport that made him famous.
