The Los Angeles Angels have had a crazy the season. Almost two months into the year, they were among the biggest surprises in baseball. They led the American League West division and appeared to be cruising. Then the world came crashing down, as the Angels would go on a 14-game losing streak.

The Angels appear to be turning things around, thanks in large part to Mike Trout. On Sunday, Trout accomplished something that no hitter ever has in the history of baseball.

The Angels took four of five games from the Seattle Mariners over the weekend. In all four victories, Trout hit the game-winning home run. He is the first player ever with four game-winning home runs in the same series.

Trout gave the Angels a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning Sunday with his 21st blast of the year. That ranks second in the majors behind only Aaron Judge.

The three-time AL MVP is having another great year thus far. He is hitting .290 with a .389 on-base percentage, the 21 home runs, 43 RBI and a 1.048 OPS. Don't forget, he is also still one of the best outfielders in all of baseball. The Angels season likely would have been lost without his production. They are in second place of the AL West, but sit nine games behind the Houston Astros.

The Angels superstar's three MVP awards are already tied for the second most in MLB history. Only Barry Bonds has more. Bonds won an insane seven career MVP Awards during his time in Pittsburgh and San Francisco.

Trout is only 30 years old and showing no signs of slowing down yet. He is among the front-runners for MVP this season. If the Angles can find their way into the postseason, there is a very good chance he will take home his fourth.
