The Los Angeles Dodgers are good and they know it. LA recently introduced a new celebration following wins to liven the energy in the clubhouse. Dodgers reporter Fabian Ardaya broke down the Dodgers new celebration which Cody Bellinger referred to as “Club Dub.”

Dodgers clubhouse has introduced something new over their last couple wins. Smoke machines, strobe lights, Mookie Betts DJ'ing (turntables and all).

Bellinger discussed this new “Club Dub.”

“It was going hard. We're really doing it. We're making it fun.”

He was also asked who came up with the idea behind the Dodgers party in the clubhouse.

“Most definitely not me,” Bellinger said. “This is Mookie’s setup. That was a little pregame for Mookie, that’s why we got a dub. It was going hard. He was teaching J.T. J.T.’s got a lot to learn.”

MLB as a whole has worked to make the game more fun. The league has encouraged bat flips and celebrations on the field. However, the Dodgers are doing a tremendous job of making sure the fun extends to the clubhouse as well. A 162-game season is a grind so maintaining a light clubhouse atmosphere is crucial.

Bellinger also commented on his recent performance on the diamond.

“I think every day, just seeing pitches every day, you can kind of tinker with the right things and what you think is going to work, and just focusing on barreling up the baseballs.”

One note worth making is that Mookie Betts has been arguably the hottest hitter in baseball over the past month which is when the Dodgers “Club Dub” was introduced. Although people might not think much about this new development, it seems to have helped Mookie find his form.
